By accessing or using RuneChat.ai ("Service"), operated by FatWalrusGames LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using RuneChat.ai, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
Service Description
RuneChat.ai is a subscription-based AI chat platform offering text-based conversations with fantasy characters in a tavern setting. The Service is intended for entertainment, roleplay, and storytelling purposes only. All content is AI-generated and fictional; no real individuals are depicted.
Account & Subscription
The Service offers paid subscriptions:
- Basic Tier: $4.99/month – unlimited text chats and chat history saving.
- Quest Tier: $9.99/month – access to story campaigns, character creation, level/EXP tracking, and backend dice rolls.
- Subscriptions are processed via Stripe. You are responsible for all charges.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. No refunds for partial months or unused time.
- Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
- You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@fatwalrusgames.com.
User Conduct & Prohibited Content
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the Service
- Harass, impersonate, or abuse others
- Upload viruses or malicious code
- Request, create, or engage with prohibited content
STRICTLY PROHIBITED CONTENT
(immediate account termination, no refund)
- Any depiction or discussion of minors, children, teens, or underage individuals
- Non-consensual sexual acts, rape, or forced activity
- Incest or family member scenarios
- Bestiality or animal involvement
- Extreme violence, gore, torture, or self-harm
- Drug-related content or impaired consent scenarios
- Kidnapping, abduction, or captivity
- Prostitution or exchange of money for sex
- Hate speech, racism, or discriminatory content
- Sleeping, unconscious, or drugged individuals in sexual contexts
- Bodily excretions
- Cannibalism, snuff, or death content
- Hypnosis or mind control in sexual contexts
- Suffocation, strangulation, or extreme breath play
- Any content depicting lack of clear, enthusiastic consent
We employ automated and manual content moderation. Violations will result in immediate account termination without refund.
Intellectual Property
RuneChat.ai and its content (text, AI-generated responses, design) are owned by FatWalrusGames LLC or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Documented Consent & Anti-Human Trafficking Policy
All content on RuneChat.ai is AI-generated and fictional. No real individuals are depicted. We maintain strict policies:
- Documented Consent: Clear, unambiguous, and documented written consent from all individuals depicted in any content is required before publication. This documentation must be readily available for review by our acquirer or card networks upon request.
- Pre-screening & Monitoring: All content is pre-screened and reviewed before publication. We actively monitor live-streamed or real-time content to detect and immediately remove any non-compliant material.
- Zero Tolerance: We have zero tolerance for human trafficking, non-consensual content, or any illegal activity.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
